Paul Gyra
Executive Vice President
Head of Alternative Assets

Paul Gyra is Head of Alternative Assets and General Manager for the firm’s overall activities in New York and leads the firm’s representation on the global business development committee. Prior to joining the firm in May 2002, he was the President and CEO of Baring Asset Management North America, a subsidiary of ING, responsible for its U.S. and Canadian businesses. Before joining Barings in 2000, Paul held other senior management positions within ING's asset management and investment banking groups. He was the Finance Director of ING Asset Management and also spent three years with ING Barings as the Global Head of Internal Audit. Paul has 23 years of experience in the international financial services industry and has held positions in the US, Europe and Australia with CS First Boston, Harvard Management Company, and Ernst & Young. He received a B.S. (Honors) in Accounting from Providence College in 1984 and became a CPA in 1986. In 1998 Paul attended the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School.

Harold Steven Yoon
Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Fund of Hedge Funds

Harold Steven Yoon, Co-Head of the Fund of Hedge Funds team, joined ING Investment Management in 2002. He is Portfolio Manager for the funds of hedge funds with over 16 years of investment experience. Prior to joining ING, Harold was portfolio manager for a long/short equity hedge fund for Kendall Square Capital Management, LLC, where he was a managing partner. From 1994-2000, he was responsible for the trading risk function for ING Barings in the Americas. Previously, Harold advised Fortune 500 companies in managing their foreign exchange and interest rate exposures and developing risk management programs as a manager in Price Waterhouse’s Treasury Consulting Practice. Harold received his B.S. in electrical engineering and his M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

William Bonde
Co-Head of Fund of Hedge Funds

Bill Bonde, Co-Head of the Fund of Hedge Funds team, joined ING Investment Management in 2008 with over 15 years of investment experience. Prior to joining ING, he was with Commerzbank Capital Markets Corp. where he was Co-Head of Alternative Investment Strategies, New York for the firm's international hedge fund of funds business and was a member of the Investment Committee. Previously, he held positions at Smith Barney's Global Energy Group, and Cowen and Company, where he established their private equity group. Bill was a Naval Officer in US Navy. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance.
